1st Nov -2021 (Time -Dwadashi starts -1.21 pm 1st Nov & ends 11.31 am 2nd Nov)
Day 1 -: 2nd Nov 2021 - Dhanteras or Dhanvantari Puja - Dhanteras, avatar of Lord Vishnu as God of Health & Ayurveda is worshiped.
Day 2 -: 4th Nov 2021 - Naraka Chaturdasi or Kali Chaudas - Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama fought the demon named Narakasura and killed him - Mahakali or Shakti is worshiped.
Day 3 -: 4th Nov 2021 - Diwali or Lakshmi Puja - Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana - Mahalakshmi is workshiped & small earthenware lamps filled with oil are lighted to welcome Lakshmi.
Day 4-: 5th Nov 2021 - Annakut Utsav or Govardhan Puja - Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan mountain for seven days & nights - miniature clay and cow-dung figures are made to depict the event.
Day 5-: 6th Nov 2021 - Bhaiya Dvija or Bhai Dooj - Yama visits his sister Yamuna - Brothers visit the sister if she is married and away to celebrate.
11th Nov 2021 - Gopashtami - Lord Krishna (Baala Gaupalan) while going for the first time in Vrindavan to graze the cow - tradition of decorating and worshiping cows with their calf on this day.
These Five festival days are marked by prayers Feast, Family Gatherings and Charity Giving.
It starts & ends with Gausamrakana.
